I am a senior at Penn State majoring in Business Management within the Smeal College of Business. Some hobbies of mine are cooking and playing basketball with friends and family. A cool fact about me is that I am currently a manager for the Women's Penn State Basketball team. Basketball has always been a true passion of mine because my father taught me at a very young age. Ever since then, I have always had a basketball in my hand. I am also devoted to taking care of the planet and learning new innovative ways to become more sustainable. I started SustainaBaller to help reduce trash on the Penn State campus in a more exciting and interactive way for students and faculty. The idea is to attach basketball hoops to trash cans and recycle bins throughout the campus, and this will encourage others to throw away their trash. The basketball trash cans and recycle bins will have a scoreboard that will show the amount of trash that has been thrown away. I believe this venture of mine will be successful not only for us, but for the planet we call home.
